Finding your wedding photographer!

As soon as you have booked the venue and the church it is time to look for your wedding photographer. Although magazines can give you a listing of some wedding photographers the internet is of course THE medium to start your search. Since photographers live from their visual arts it is to be expected that their site looks wonderful and reflect their work.

So, if the site looks appealing and you love the images on the site it is time to ask for information. But, it is important to find out why you like the images… is it the style (posed or journalistic, see also here), the use of colours or black & white pictures, the love you see or something else? Once you know why you like a wedding photographer, it is easier to compare…

Now you should have some photographers in mind whom you like and you can contact them for more information, simply by phoning or even easier, emailing. Personally I like the mails which contain the date, location and a small description of your wedding day itself.

Probably, the photographers will reply within one working day sending you prices and additional information you requested and based on this information it is time to make an appointment to meet the photographer.

Happy New Year!

First I wish everybody a wonderful, happy and above all a loving 2007!!! Let's make it a good year!

Personally I do have high expectations for 2007 since I am full of new ideas and I can not wait to realize them all…

Until June trips are planned to The Netherlands, France and England and of course some coastal weddings here in Croatia. I have to admit: being a wedding photographer is a nice job!

However, until Eastern there are hardly any weddings so I do have enough time to develop my latest product: the wedding book. I can not say too much right now, but soon I will put more information online.

And for all those who get married soon, don't forget to visit the 'Sajam Vjenčanja' here in Zagreb from 2 – 4 February. More information can soon be found here.
